L’ancienne Première ministre conserve ainsi sa voiture de fonction avec chauffeur. Selon Mediapart, son frère en profiterait lui aussi régulièrement : chaque dimanche, le chauffeur viendrait le chercher à son domicile parisien pour le conduire déjeuner chez elle.

Ces avantages, maintenus malgré le décret, coûteraient plus de 157 000 € par an aux contribuables. Matignon a refusé d’expliquer les raisons de cette dérogation.
