Thank you Jesus for your promises have never failed. I am one of the 52% who made it. I’m also going to be one of the first agents in FIFA’s new system as regards dealing with football players and talents! I am a FIFA licensed football agent (manager)! 🙏🏿❤️⚽️
Working in football humbles everyone in it - teams, players, coaches, agents, CEOs, SDs.
It’s crazy how things change quickly - you are at the top one moment and the next moment, you’re at your lowest.
But the comebacks are beautiful.
Always thank God regardless!
If you played U-17/major tournaments, you’ve not left the trenches. Don’t celebrate yet.
After that, a robust strategy for development and exposure does.
Talent opens the door, but proper management, mentorship, guidance, and mental resilience keep a player inside the room. 📌
NEXT STEPS AND SOLUTIONS:
1. We have to push for modification of electoral processes that produce NFF officials. Right now only the congress votes and The congress is made up of only 44 persons
This 44 persons are:
37 state FA chairmen
1 representative each from NPFL, NNL, NLO, NWFL, REFEREE ASSOCIATION, COACHES ASSOCIATION, PLAYERS UNION AND SUPPORTERS CLUB.
No EX PLAYERS, NO TEAM CAPTAINS, NO JOURNALISTS, NO STAKEHOLDERS, NO CLUBS OR CLUB OWNERS etc
And for you to contest you MUST be nominated by a congress member (mostly the state FAs)
So where the biggest problem in all of this is that these state FA chairmen go and form a voting bloc. If you buy them off and agree to their terms you automatically WIN.
All the NPFL have one vote
All the NNL have one vote
All the NLO have one vote
All the NWFL have one vote
All the Coaches union have one vote
But the State FA chairmen have 37 fvcking votes!!!
So in the real sense, the state FA chairmen are the ones who decides who will be the NFF president. They have the voting bloc and it’s for the highest bidder!
THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE FIRST!!!
I don’t mean to sound like your mom but the lack of routine and discipline in life, waking up without purpose, being idle and spending too much time on the bed with your phone will lead to terrible mental health. That’s a given.
I’ve got a genuine concern about the 210 players from the 10 African countries that played at the U-17 World Cup because I’ve seen players who played on that stage in the past that didn’t make it.
Those boys need mentorship, proper representation, guidance and not hype atp.
That’s disgraceful. What about the teammates that worked and won the possession for the team?
I really hate the main-character syndrome in players.
TEAMWORK!!!
Look at what they’re doing to Jude Bellingham despite being a British citizen. His dad is a a complete citizen. His Mum is an immigrant.
THEN WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AS AN AFRICAN TO GET COMFORTABLE? ‼️
YOU PEOPLE SHOULD WAKE UP! ⏰
Deeply disappointing news has emerged this morning as the NTTF confirmed that the nation’s youth team scheduled to compete at the ITTF World Youth Championships in Romania holding Nov 23-30 has been denied visas.
Led by reigning West African champion, Kuti Matthew, the Nigerian squad secured its place by winning the U15 and U19 boys’ team categories at the 2025 ITTF-Africa Youth Championships in Lagos. Yet, despite their triumph, the team has now been replaced by Egypt and Tunisia in those events following this visa denial.
These boys gave everything in their quest for qualification, only to see their dreams shattered like this. 😢
Sadly this is what the game turns you into, if you’re not careful.
What you’re meant to enjoy becomes your demon.
It happens to everyone working within it - not just coaches.
Be gracious. Be empathetic..
it’s only a game which turned into a brutal business.
"I AM TOXIC"
Another extraordinary soundbite from Marcelo Bielsa. A self-reflection on his character and his obsessiveness as a coach which he says is rooted in fear.
I understand that there is a players’ union and Ahmed Musa is the leader or so. I don’t know if it’s still functioning. The head of FIFPRO Africa is Njitap Geremi, former Chelsea player. They can work collaboratively with FIFPRO.
He doesn’t need to call me, while podcasts are great to push out enlightenment about the said issues.
Being on podcasts alone won’t solve anything. These issues Requires actionable moves, not just podcasts.
The first actionable move to solving this issues is for them (Ex internationals and current players) to come together and create a players union!!
Time to start acting!!!
Kwara state used to be a place where nothing happens - just your typical peaceful place. Calm and lowkey life. Now it’s a target for terrorists and ammunition-wielding mercenaries.
This is like the 3rd attack in under a year in my state.
This rubbish needs to stop. 🛑
