The Hollie high school starter kit™ (It's been awhile).
Anyone else know Blue Banana? The time before being able to shop online were bleak if you wanted to look like all the popular kids on MySpace.
Distinct lack of studded belts and manic panic hairdye in Abergavenny market🤣

I fucking moved 17 km in three and a half hours yesterday cause I was stuck in the middle of a protest. That means an average speed of 4.5 km/h.. every day is worse than the one before, I hate this place. Incompetent buffoons the lot of 'em.
JUST IN: Mexico City is reportedly facing major protests, road blockades, & unfinished infrastructure work just 8 days before the World Cup kicks off.
Backrooms really said: Let's make Silent Hill 2 but with bright colours and an office building instead of a town. And I'm not complaining. Anything inspired by SH2 and well made gets a thumbs up from me. I'm so happy psychological horror is coming back to the mainstream!
My app one day: Your word of the day is.. Zeit (time)! 😃😃
My app the next day: Sorry man, I dropped my keyboard but here's A word (I think)...
Learning German goes from A1 to C2 from one word to the next one.
I don't hate that album specifically, I just hate The Who and I think Tom Petty is immensely overrated. If I hear "Free Falling" at an open mic again, I might shoot myself. But SFTBC is the best album from the 80's.
@Noneyuns52@LoganGaval "This is why WE are pros and you're not" or the classic "I'd recommend this $700 boutique pedal with a 2 year waiting list to any beginner guitarist, and this $3000 Gibson to go with it."
Yeah they know their stuff but they always sound very snooby and elitist.
One thing I do miss about the UK are pubs. We have Bars around here but they're either for lonely alcoholics, or straight up places where you go get smashed with very loud music and that's it's. I wanna go for a beer, sit at the bar and have a lively but chill atmosphere.
Just updated my switch, ran all of my Switch 1 games and HOLY SHIT it makes such a big difference. For someone like me that plays 95% on handheld this is a huuuge deal. I have so many games I stopped playing cause they looked like shit on the NS2 but now they look good as hell 🖤

What a weekend! So happy to see one of my oldest friends get married to his high school sweetheart.
Also got our tickets to Germany to spend a few months and I'm spending a day in London for my bday.
Things are looking up. 🖤
@SwitchUpG@DreamyWeegee It makes it a tough purchase when you're paying almost half of what the console was in the first place just on storage.. hopefully they release cheaper options in the future! This is what's keeping me from making the S2 my main console.
Metallica frontman James Hetfield says the spark that drives him will never fade. In a new interview on CBS News’ Sunday Morning, Hetfield revealed that the connection with fans is what keeps him motivated: “Just looking into one set of eyes… I’ll see the passion in them, and I’m full. My heart fills right up, and I’m ready to just keep going, kicking ass.”
Hetfield reflected on his gratitude for finding his passion early, the struggles he faced to make music his life, and the unique community Metallica has built over decades. “We gather a lot of misfits around this planet and we make a family out of it, and we create some energy that helps us get through life,” he said.
With over 145 million albums sold worldwide, Metallica’s legacy spans generations, from kids in the front row to grandparents rocking out beside them. For Hetfield, the fire isn’t about success or accolades, but the human connection forged night after night.
Damn.. there was a time where I was absolutely obsessed with the stone roses. Lucky I got to see them a few years ago. Iconic bass lines in every song, one of the best to ever come out of the UK. RIP
