Like it or not by all technical accounts for what a game director is he did his job. Both successfully and unsuccessfully

Its simple economics. Either that or they raise the prices again and lose further good will which then prevents more spending. Which then leads to.. layoffs!

@Dukopathz @handsome_tyyy @IGN Can an argument be made that this adaptation sucks? Sure, but so did game did thrones season 8. And look where the franchise is now. Still popping off. It hardly "ruined" anything but that season alone. Or the LoTR series. It was ass, but lord of the rings is still popping off.

Suffice it to say the anime was SUCCESSFUL enough to not get canceled meaning your argument is false. (And yes netflix has canceled plenty of stuff they have greenlit before)

The games haven't been watched with this story, the creators of this aren't lying to people saying its canon, they aren't pulling an Arcane and making it canon... so how does it "ruin" dmc?

@Hitendr08989165 @IGN Because DBE was not competently made in any way. The cinematography sucked, the acting was *ok* at best, the vfx sucked etc. This is at least decently put together.

And I for one don't want the already crunched overworked devs to crunch even more and overwork themselves even more for a cause MOST people don't truly care about. (Mind you the word most is in there not all)
