@LinaLavendula It would be nearly impossible for anyone to prove without a shadow of a doubt that valve is strong arming pricing, otherwise sites like "IsThereAnyDeal" wouldn't exist since most PC titles are on steam.

Steam isn't always the cheapest option.

Hell i use locomotion locks outside of stick drift reasons, its just nice to have.

Here is how i see it if im being faithful about it. Pirates want to know if their purchase will be worthwhile, which is why me and sacred go to great lengths to demo the asset, and show setup is as easy as possible.

It's crazy how normalized this really is in the #vrchat space.

I'd argue most the community hate DRM and Anti-Cheat, but doing the wrong thing is WHY it exists. You can't speak out about DRM in assets and then STEAL said assets.

Yeah ive seen this too, if you google search CineShades which is the only product i currently sell, one of the first results is a pirate site hosting the files.

I barely get paid enough from sales to continue development of it.
