I think we've got to stop asking if Portugal's model could work elsewhere, and start asking: Has criminalization worked *anywhere*? Our status quo bias means we're asking for a lot from one country's experience, without interrogating how much of a failure our strategy is.

If you are pregnant I am begging you to get the covid vaccine. The only young, healthy women in our ICU have all been pregnant. Every single one. They crash harder and faster and with worse outcomes than any other patient group I've seen. Please get the vaccine.
