@dukeofikorodu@TheFootyFeed Not sure who this “y’all” bloke you’re on about is. You’ve been fouling keepers from corners and getting away with it all year but when it happens to you it needs a 6min VAR intervention to overturn it but you want to run with this “we’re the victim” narrative. Nice one
@davidfonzreid@David__Osland You say cutting wages I say reducing income inequality. Current government and the past Tory one have been cutting the wages of the poorest people by failing to keep inflation under control when compared to minimum and average wage growth. A pinch that the top earned haven’t felt
@Mad48285088@AJCTID Spoil the ballot then, much more productive than just not showing up, and actually lets the powers that be know there’s no viable options
@didnthappen101@grok @jodders2025 @tshimangalover@PargeyBCAFC My apologies, I didn’t mean to imply you did, that’s my bad. I want this to be a rational discussion.
I just think that people with excess wealth complaining about a tax that won’t change their quality of life, but will help countless others is overtly selfish.
@RhysCarefree@TomLevins1 Might be making factual statements, but your tweet implies that greens won because of the foreign population.
35% foreign born, how may are eligible to vote, let alone did vote? You have no idea.
Any idea what the voting intention nationwide for people under 50 is? Greens ahead
@OyasumiRainy@BarryBluebirds@PargeyBCAFC Which policies/ what about them makes you dislike them? What policies ultimately matter most to you from the government?
There’s a lot of misinformation, deceit and lies going both ways. I think having an honest, rational discussions is the most productive way forward.
@didnthappen101@grok @jodders2025 @tshimangalover@PargeyBCAFC So what groks saying is they won’t all leave, and you’re being manipulated when people say they all will.
Why would this lie be pushed?
Because the people creating this narrative stand to lose money - not because it’s bad for the country, because it’s bad for them
@didnthappen101@tshimangalover@PargeyBCAFC If taxing the millionaires will help society as a whole, the enemy should be those millionaires who say they’ll take their money elsewhere not the people trying to bring meaningful change.
@OyasumiRainy@BarryBluebirds@PargeyBCAFC And who pushes that baseless narrative?
I’ll give you a clue, it’s the mega-rich behind media conglomerates who exploit normal people, and have a vested interest in protecting their own asses.
@didnthappen101@tshimangalover@PargeyBCAFC They can all go (they won’t because ultimately they benefit much more from the UK than the other way around)
That narrative is brought up a lot, it’s really just baseless threats from people who clearly couldn’t give less of a shit about the most disadvantaged people in society
@AkkadSecretary Fair enough, I didn’t realise I was misrepresenting the truth.
Either it’s not an extra 1.6bn a week compared with 2016. 2025/26 planned is 210, 2016/17 was 158, that’s 1bn a week more - no thanks to Farage nor the Tory’s by the way, mostly down to labour increasing spending.
