@jonahbliss Related yes but doesn’t excuse delays. Trains have less distance to travel so should run more frequently delivering passengers more quickly to bus bridge shuttles.
@metrolosangeles - totally unacceptable train service delays right now from B Line NoHo station. Passengers waiting since 833am w extending delays up to 25 mins!! How can this be fixed??
Real time arrivals monitors are key to update accurately but also need #ambassadors with power to radio w bus and rail ops who can respond w added trains to address real time concerns.
It's our first action alert of the year: Call in Thursday, January 25 @ 10am and tell @metrolosangeles to fund care-based programs so that transit riders feel safe!
Call-in instructions and sample script available at: https://t.co/uWeccmfl8h.
Thanks @metrolosangeles for the fare free ride today for clean air day. I rode 2x as many rides bc it was simple and I barely had to wait. On #farefree days, pls turn off your announcements to tap or else face fines. That’s not right, esp. on days like today.
Permanent affordable housing (SB555) keeps families housed for the long-term. @AsmFriedmanCA, I'm a constituent and I encourage your support #PassSB555!
.@metrolaalerts and @metrolosangeles: how much delay should i as a rider expect in service due to announced police activity? Please update your rider alerts and station signs with updated ETAs.
Every 4th of July, I reread Frederick Douglass’ speech…
A speech every student should read in their history classes.
We should always celebrate our national holidays, but we have a responsibility to do so with a complete history and consciousness.

We fix a freeway in two weeks, but the third busiest passenger rail corridor in the country is closed for, aw shucks, maybe the rest of the year? They can't even be bothered to set a date.
A California freeway collapsed in 2007 that was expected to take months to fix, but politicians worked to remove bureaucracy and red tape to get it fixed in 25 days.
Let's make it happen for the SD -> LA Amtrak corridor. It's a choice not to.
Transit ambassadors have quickly become an essential part of the @metrolosangeles ecosystem. Organized labor representation will support them for the long haul!
ACT-LA stands with Metro's transit ambassadors, who are unionizing with @ATULocal1756. Our transit ambassadors must be paid well, and have basic benefits such as healthcare, break rooms, and the other demands they have made.
