WE MUST RESIST EVERY ATTEMPT BY THESE POLITICAL HOODLUMS TO CRIMINALISE AND RIDICULE DECENCY/HUMILITY , AND ELEVATE IMPUNITY AND GREED AS CULTURE AND TRADITION IN NIGERIA
If Peter Gregrory Obi had followed the trend of other greedy former Governors in Nigeria, to encourage and sign off on State pensions and privilege laws, the airport rats and Keyamo would not have had access to clamp on the wheels of the vehicle that dropped him off at the Abuja airport.
Its so pathetically and painfully obvious that being humble, decent and corrupt free in Nigeria comes with a price and that's what Peter Obi is paying.
Nigerians don't rate humble people, they see them as weak people to trample upon
LETS LOOKS AT EBONYI AND LAGOS STATE Pension and Privilege Laws...I PARTICULARLY PICKED OUT EBONYI AND LAGOS , because of the antics of the ronu rats and Dave Umahi endless empty gra gra
In Nigeria today, the exact scale of security provided to an ex-governor varies by state, as governed by local executive pension laws passed by their respective State Houses of Assembly. For example:
1. Lagos State: Under its gubernatorial privileges, a former governor is entitled to a lifelong security detail consisting of eight police officers and two State Security Service (DSS) operatives.
2. Ebonyi State: State legislation similarly provisions six policemen and three DSS officials to protect former governors.
If Peter Obi has been as greedy, noisy and insensitive to the plight and waste of resources of Ndi Anambra , like Dave Umahi and other former Governors were, he would have created , enabled and signed into law State pension act that allowed Ndi Anambra to provide him with 8 POLICE OFFICERS AND 3 DSS OFFICERS [ PAID FROM NDI ANAMBRA FAAC ALLOCATIONS FROM 2014 TILL DATE ]
If Peter Obi had such retinue of security aides following him in a convoy of vehicles, [ paid by Ndi Anambra], and he had used the usual VIP wing [ insulating himself from the mass of Nigeria people, like the other political bandits], Keyamo and his airport touts would not have had any access to clamp the wheel of any of his SUVs ....
Former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte was famously known for riding his bicycle to work. The man showed so much humility and decency in power despite presiding over a $1.25trillion sized economy ...an economy that is 5 times bigger than the Nigerian economy
On Behalf of every decent, progressive, honest and productive Nigerians, we wish to commend Mr Peter Obi and encourage him to remain steadfast in his avowed principles and decent ways of living
We must fix this land ...

"With the way this government is going, I may not even be alive to contest the 2027 election. Every single thing I do for a living, this government is deliberately frustrating. I face frustration every day. They recently locked my car at the airport."
โNDC presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi
Dear @seunokin,
I find it uncomfortable calling journalists out because I believe they do a job that can often pose significant challenges, especially in our setting.
However, the consistent act of allowing guests on your program to tell outright lies unchallenged is becoming quite worrying.
There is substantial evidence that Obi never sent northerners resident in Anambra back to the north when he was governor, nor insisted they be issued ID cards. Even children in Nigeria who are conversant with what is happening around them know that this only happened in Imo under Rochas Okorocha. If no one outside the South East knows this, you, as a journalist, should know.
Furthermore, Obi consistently called on the government to deal decisively with the criminality going on in the South East, since IPOB continued to deny responsibility. In essence, if they say they aren't responsible, the government should deal with the perpetrators decisively.
Therefore, the fact that Alhaji Ali Modi Sherif came on your program today and made false allegations against Obi, and you did not deem it right to counter him, is quite worrisome.
No one should appear on a popular TV program, tell lies against another person, and have those lies allowed to fly. It is the responsibility of the journalist to counter such lies, especially when they are as obvious as in this case.
Attached are videos of northerners resident in Anambra confirming how good Obi was to them when he was governor.
Thank you.
Today, GoNigeria releases a statement calling on every eligible Nigerian, particularly the millions of young people who have turned 18 since the last general election, to register to vote before the 24 July 2026 deadline.
Over the past few weeks, GoNigeria has been actively engaging young Nigerians through sustained on-the-ground outreach and across a range of media and digital platforms to make voter registration information more accessible. This work will continue in the days ahead.
While voter registration is the immediate priority, it is only one part of GoNigeria's broader mission, anchored by our four foundational pillars: electoral reform, the protection of freedom of speech, judicial reform, and the security of life and property.
I encourage you to read the full statement. If you are eligible to vote, please register before the deadline. If you know someone who is eligible but has not yet registered, encourage them to do the same.

DNA test results have conclusively identified a previously unidentified body at the Ikorodu General Hospital mortuary as that of Pelumi Emmanuel Onifade, the 20-year-old journalist k!!lled while covering the #EndSARS protests in October 2020.
Onifade, an intern reporter with Lagos-based Gboah TV and a 200-level History student at Tai Solarin University of Education, was on assignment in the Abule Egba/Agege area on October 24, 2020.
While covering the protests, he filmed a video that captured the President of the Yoruba Youth Forum, Olusegun Abiodun Bolarinwa, shooting into a crowd of unarmed protesters. The footage quickly went viral, sparking widespread outrage.
Shortly after, Onifade was reportedly shot and arrested by officers attached to the Lagos State Task Force. His body was later found at the Ikorodu mortuary, tagged as No. 1385, but remained unidentified for years due to forensic challenges, including the destruction of DNA samples at the state's forensic centre during the protests.
Recent DNA matching between samples from the body and Onifade's parents, conducted by the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, has now confirmed his identity in the ongoing coroner's inquest.
Onifade's viral video documented a critical moment during the #EndSARS demonstrations against police brutality. Eyewitness accounts indicate that after the footage surfaced, he and a colleague were targeted.
His family searched for him for days before locating what they believed to be his remains at the mortuary, where a gunshot wound was observed.
