In the security line at Barcelona Airport, one person out of hundreds gets called out, asked to take off her shoes, and gets manually „examined“. Guess the skin color of that person. You have one try.
I have some mixed feelings about the format of this year's @gsas_io - Half of the talks is about AI and AI related stuff, but most of them feel half-baked and, frankly, naive. Using the term "Reasoning" without disclaimer or explanations is misleading and dangerous.
@gepardtatze 2003-2004 Wehrdienst in Sigmaringen. Es war eine schöne Zeit und niemand dachte auch nur ansatzweise daran, dass Russland 20 Jahre später den größten Krieg seit 1945 mitten in Europa beginnen wird.
The oncology station of the Children Hospital, which Russians struck this morning, has been evacuated. The children need to receive their cancer treatment in the open.
This is the result of the Russian World.

Do Russians still not understand that Ukraine is probably going to spend 30 years hunting each and every Russian responsible for these things?
It's likely going to make Mossad look like the Teletubbies.
Children's hospital, Kyiv.
More shots from the scene at the children's hospital in #Kyiv after the Russian attack 💔
Words fail to express the depth of our despair. What Russia did defies definition. This goes beyond terrorism.
Damning how the EU is trying to quietly pass a bill TOMORROW that would mandate all private communications can be monitored under the pretext of child safety.
This would mean forcing backdoors into eg WhatsApp, Signal: or banning those services.
Nuts that it is even considered.
Update: S3 engineers are working to make unauthorized requests that customers did not initiate free of charge.
This change will cover a range of HTTP 3xx/4xx status codes, including all of those cited in the article. We're moving quickly and we plan to share more details this week.
Ok, this is bonkers... S3 charges you for unauthorized requests 🤯 so someone can DDOS you by making unauthorized to your private bucket!
All it takes is for them to guess your bucket name 🤦♂️

Sad day for the #Symfony community. Symfony would not be Symfony without @weaverryan. Symfony blogget since 2009, core team member, magician at SymfonyCasts, speaker, and more. He needs our support. Time to give back. https://t.co/ll9UMTBY5z
I’m writing this post in English so that it could be shared among wider audience, beyond the borders of my usual circle for which these thoughts are not new at all.
I suspect that most people not born in the countries of the former USSR do not understand the gravity of situation around Ukraine, as they have no idea to which level Russian propaganda is vile and soul-deforming. I am a Russian citizen myself, my family is there; also, since the start of the full-scaled invasion, I’ve been working with Ukrainian refugees, including those who escaped the occupied territories.
Let me be perfectly clear on one thing. Surrendering “for peace and negotiations” is not an option here. It means death and torture of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of civilians. It also means national and ethnic identity erased. It also means Hitlerjugend-like indoctrination of children.
What do you think occupying forces will do (and already do) to people showing any sign of Ukrainian patriotism? Having a “wrong” tattoo? Do you know how many people with such “wrong” tattoos – with Ukrainian sigils, flags, folk ornaments, quotes - are living in Ukraine? How many people raise their children in Ukrainian?
All these people will be gone as soon as Russia gets to them. They will be imprisoned, tortured, sent for labor camps, their kids will be taken away and retaught the way Russia likes. I am not exaggerating, it IS happening already to the occupied territories.
And yes, if Russia succeeds in Ukraine, there is a list of countries that will be next.
The only peace option is pushing Russia to get its army as far from the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine as possible. Any means to do it is good. Peace talks with Russia are only possible from a position of military superiority.
