5. Simplified Authentication and Authorization - Thanks to Next Auth , the authentication and authorization process, which used to be a headache , surprisingly went smoothly.

Have really enjoyed building a portfolio CMS using NextJS 14 Users will be able to update their Portfolio content visually without writing code. Some of the key features I really enjoyed were:-

4. Typescript - Getting to build this product using typescript was a bit nerve-wracking but worth it. Really speedee up development as I could first build to meaningful milestones before toggling to the browser for testing.

3 . Data Fetching - It's amazing how NextJS was able to supercharge the fetch api . Combining It with server actions made the fetch API sufficient for all my CRUD operations. The caching strategies also speeded up things nicely.

2. Rendering Patterns - I was mix and match various rendering patterns ie CSR , SSR , SSG , ISG to achieve optimal perfomance

1. Server Actions - Eliminated need to setup backend routes , updates reflected almost instantaneously
