@Prowl8413 Thank you for the response! Although I wrote in an exaggerated way, as I mentioned earlier, it was good to spark this small discussion and chat among different people and opinions.
@Simon_Hypixel@DaemianHu It’s okay! And sorry if I ended up sounding rude. I really am a fan of the game and of your effort. I just got anxious and concerned because of things I hear and what many others comment, so I didn’t consider how you might feel about the message.
@SwissIceCreamW@DaemianHu@Simon_Hypixel But why would it be too late to implement these basic, complementary systems? It’s not like adding a whole new biome that would require putting everything else aside—for example, those 500 blocks that were added.
@mystic_lucy@akira_dude@Simon_Hypixel It seems they’re aiming to make something much more complex for the breeding and fishing systems! Looks like it won’t be just the basics, then.
@SamaAnsoni@Simon_Hypixel Now we’re going in circles. The discussion started because of the exaggeration—the capital letters were just to get attention, intentionally. As for the updates, yes, they’ll eventually be added, whether sooner or later.
@mystic_lucy@akira_dude@Simon_Hypixel I agree with you. I only mentioned that detail because it seemed like Hytale was starting to head in that direction. Since animals and their baby versions already exist, a small duplication/breeding system could have been added.
@DaemianHu@Simon_Hypixel Same here—I just really wish I could get back to playing. Do a bit of fishing, breed animals, grow some crops, and have a slower progression around those systems.
@MusicaJosh@Simon_Hypixel Yes, and it already had more blocks than I had ever seen at launch—I could barely even use them all. But a game made of blocks depends on much more than that when its purpose is something else.
@IAmPaulQuinn@Simon_Hypixel hahahaha! Sorry, my first comment was a bit exaggerated to guarantee responses and interaction. But the core of what I said is genuine—I just exaggerated the way I expressed it.
@Cptn_Tiger@Simon_Hypixel Yes, but in most updates it seems that isn’t the focus. And even though it may be irrelevant to some, it makes a big difference to others. Many people are hooked on idle games for that reason—progression within a single system, like fishing, animal breeding, hunting, or farming.
@K4nkOOp@Simon_Hypixel It was a way to get attention—a bit of exaggeration to make sure I’d get a response. Before, I’d never managed to get any interaction.
@Cptn_Tiger@Simon_Hypixel From what I’ve followed, I’ve always thought that developing blocks—modeling them and creating new textures—would be more complex and time-consuming than implementing a simple interaction system between two existing mobs to generate an offspring.
@Aristocrat222@akira_dude@Simon_Hypixel My focus has always been on making the game slower in progression—harder to find resources, to farm, to survive. Building a base to face challenges, hunting, breeding, developing a farm, dominating a region, exploring, and fishing for rare fish.
