@ndey_b I think she is trying to move infront of the criminal instead of waiting for space to be available. I am sure she is unconsciously squishing herself in that tiny space
🇬🇲🇬🇲: Buba Jallow, accused of the alleged murder of Ebou Njie at Latrikunda German, appeared unrepresented before Justice I. Janneh at the Bundung High Court and complained about his treatment at Mile 2. He told the court that since his detention he had been held in a sealed cell cut off from his family, unable to arrange legal representation, and was wearing clothes borrowed from someone inside the prison. He further stated that he had been prescribed medication but was denied access to a doctor, that a prison officer present in court had confiscated his prescription, and that he lacked fresh air and contact with others.
State Counsel W. K. Drammeh appeared for the prosecution and sought an adjournment to file a bill of indictment, noting that the matter was only for mention. Justice Janneh observed that the case had been transferred from the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court and that her court would not assume jurisdiction until a bill of indictment was filed; she ordered the State to do so within 30 days. On the medical complaint she directed prison authorities to take Jallow to the prison health facility and, if necessary, to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital. The case was then adjourned to October 2026, after the court vacation, for further hearing.

We are not leaving boys 🙎♂️🙎♂️ behind.
Ending period poverty is everyone's responsibility.
When boys learn about menstruation and pad-making, they grow into men who support girls and women with respect and action.
Real change happens when boys and men are part of the solution.

@FMCamara This is heartbreaking and appalling. It is time for everyone to speak out. How can you jail someone after expelling him from the exam. This is impunity and abuse of state laws.
