So many firsts here...😲
First lotto solo mined RDTS block.
First RDTS block not mined with DATUM Gateway (and first using ckpool software).
First RDTS block not mined using OCEAN.
Attention to those who do not run a full bitcoin node and do not have a significant investment in the network: The final decision belongs to the real users and node runners.
The primary difference between a Bitcoin softfork vs hardfork, is their behaviour with regard to "do nothing" nodes.
If a node does nothing, then it automatically rejects a hardfork. On the other hand, it automatically accepts a softfork.
To accept a hardfork, you must upgrade your node.
To reject a softfork, you must upgrade your node.
(To accept a softfork, even if you are disinterested, you should still upgrade your node, to stay secure.)
@BTCfixesMoney@stepnoy385394@w_s_bitcoin I consider the likelihood of such a scenario to be low. In my opinion, if this scenario were to occur, BIP110 would be far more likely to fail than to succeed;
given BIP110's low hashrate in this situation, it would take months for the network difficulty to readjust.
