@BasildonHistory @FirstEssex Hiya the driver was correct the tap and cap is only valid around Basildon Area, the border for the tap and cap in the 300 is Noak Bridge Eastfield Road any destination after this stop requires a ticket. Or the inspectors can issue a £50 fine, if travel further than this stop

@JimRourke3 @FirstEssex The reason the driver asks for destination is that tap and cap is only a certain area Basildon to Noak Bridge only even though at the moment a single is £2 tap a ticket needs to be issued if travelling past noak bridge.
