110 years ago today, more than 800 Newfoundlanders went into battle at Beaumont-Hamel. More than 700 were killed, wounded, or went missing in a single day. Despite their horrific losses, the Newfoundland Regiment fought in World War I until 1918.

Today, as we celebrate the greatest country on Earth, we remember all those who served and sacrificed so that we could live in freedom and peace.

🛢️ Iraq sits on 145 billion barrels of proven reserves, about 17% of the world's total.

The number that matters more is the one nobody quotes.

It's reservoir quality.

Iraq's giants combine high natural pressure, high porosity, and high permeability, which means the oil flows to surface with minimal lift.

That translates into some of the lowest production costs on earth.

The supergiants do the work: Rumaila pumps 1.4 mb/d, West Qurna 0.9, Majnoon 0.7, with Kirkuk producing since 1927.

Mostly light to medium crude with good API gravity.

when prices fall and high-cost barrels get shut in, Iraq's barrels are the last to blink.
Volume is the headline.
Cost is the moat.
