Non-black folks need to grow self-awareness & system-awareness (myself included) & to shift emotional labor off of POC. I’ll follow up w/ that list this weekend
@searanyi I’ve been hearing recently that if you get a high medical bill you should ask for an itemized receipt (so they’re not charging you $50 for a bandaid). Apparently once they’re asked to tell you what went into the bill it usually goes down considerably (which is sad)
