The ECAJ's ACNC-registered charity entity has reported receiving no government grant revenue in its filings over the past decade, despite receiving over $176 million in Commonwealth security funding.

Department of Home Affairs officials acknowledged that the funding arrangement was a deliberate government decision to channel funds through ECAJ and stated the grants are administered according to Commonwealth Grants Rules, but specific auditing conditions have not been publicly disclosed. Home Affairs did not address specific questions about whether funds are being used for lobbying, advocacy, or legal activities.
