You can’t just "disbelieve" economic data. We’re looking at an energy crisis & a long-term recession. Other countries are already making the tough calls & being upfront with their citizens about new budgets. Why are our leaders acting like everything is fine? https://t.co/zx5snfAJEq
When the mother first reached out, Azan was alive, you failed to act.
Eight months later, when you finally responded, Azan was still alive, you refused to take responsibility.
When I first raised this issue, Azan was still alive, you chose silence.
When I raised it again, Azan was still alive, you were silent and no one held accountable
When I brought it up this morning, admitted but Azan was still alive, you still said nothing.
Now Azan is no longer with us, lifeless body buried and you are still silent and whoever responsible is freely roaming around.
So I am asking you again, @NSPAmaldives & @stoplc , when will you speak up?
When will you hold those responsible accountable? How much longer do you need?
How many more need to suffer before you admit failures and fix those?
Do not, even for a moment, think this case, and your responsibility, will be buried along with him. I will keep on asking until I get an answer!

For years we have asked governments to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Every time the answer is the same:no money.
But since we are willing to borrow another 100 million USD just to cover additional fuel costs, I urge the Gov to allocate at least 15% of it to renewable energy.
15 million can buy about 30,000 kW of solar panels, enough for ~10,000 households. Thats around 1/5th of households outside Male’. Once that is done, the savings can help fund battery systems as phase 2.
Instead of burning the entire 100M on fuel, lets please invest a small portion of this in solar that will reduce fuel imports, save millions in fuel costs every year, and pay back the investment many times over during its 20+ year lifespan.

The token system at @treetophospital is a confusion. The token given can't be followed by display, instead need to approach to counter everytime to check remaining. No online tracking available. Small clinics does better.
This is where it all started. Please know, how much I love each of you – my readers – and I’m still (over 30 years later) so delighted to know that The Monk who sold this Ferrari is still inspiring people‘s lives. Much respect and have a great day. Robin.
Ignoring the deafening call for financial discipline brought us to these rocky shores.
We all preferred to believe that lunch was free.
This is no time for one-upmanship or political wrangling
Together we shall steer through stormy seas & sail into calmer waters.

If you want to change for the better, work on yourself quietly. Growth is usually quiet. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. Let them wonder what’s going on. It’s not their business anyway. The Almighty knows and that’s enough.
The Maldives' tourism Industry is estimated to be worth 15 Billion Dollars or more. Perhaps it will be even higher over the years.
I have always wondered why we (Maldives) do not have a World Class National Level Airline. Given we have the best brands and, ultimately, the best service experience in resorts and hotels, travellers are keen to pay whatever the price it is to be in the Maldives. Yet, we have not had a moment to enjoy a National Airline that is in line with the standards, service and compatibility to the level of the overall hospitality sector.
Recently, I had the opportunity to study the turnaround story of Fiji Airways. Though I have not met the CEO of Fiji Airways in Person, I have known his story since he took over as Air Mauritius CEO years ago and turned it around. My mentor, Ron Kaufman, the world's leading authority in service excellence and leadership, was vital in guiding the CEO of Fiji Airways, Andre Viljoen, to turn it around. The story of Fiji Airways is impressive. They had no resources yet but turned it around using what they had. They had great people and used a strategic choice of developing people and their mindset to create one of the most prosperous island nation airlines. The Fiji Airways. I had an opportunity to experience this airline back in 2019.
Maldives deserves a world-class national airline. But to do this, a cutthroat approach of believing "we don't know what we don't know" and getting the expert's help across is needed. We are used to our comfort zone. It's a dangerous zone; nothing improves, and excellence is never delivered by staying in the comfort zone.
Here is a paper that you can read about the turnaround story of Fiji Airways.

Hello @bankofmaldives, is there a plan to enable SMS/Email notification for business accounts for withdrawing/receipt like how it’s for personal accounts. Ideally to a preferred number or numbers by the account owners, so that the fake payment receipt can too be avoided.
