Today, we visited the family of Vincent Ayomo who was shot dead by the police in Kitengela.

We have taken care of the funeral expenses.

Political rallies should be spaces for dialogue, not tragedy. The loss of Vincent Ayomo at the Kitengela rally is heartbreaking and unacceptable. Our thoughts and prayers are with his widow, Khadija, and their infant child during this painful time. We call for a swift, transparent investigation and urge authorities to protect, not endanger, citizens exercising their democratic rights.

May his soul rest in peace.

Happening… we are in Kitengela with @HEBabuOwino on behalf of the #LindaMwananchi team to condole with the family of Vincent Ayomo who was shot dead by police on 15th of February. Vincent was shot dead for no reason hours after our rally in Kitengela had been violently dispersed by police. We will continue to demand that justice be served for Vincent, the latest needless death in Ruto’s legacy.
