Argentine player Valentín Barco opened up about the fight with England midfielder Jude Bellingham after Argentina’s World Cup semi-final victory over England.
Barco claimed the incident began with what he insisted was nothing more than a joke.
“I jokingly called him a black monkey. It was a clear joke that was supposed to be funny, But he took the bait and slapped me. He took it as racism, but I was clearly joking about it. I was just winding him up after we won. That’s football. People get heated.”

In a recent interview, Luís Figo revealed that ten journalists shortlisted among the 100 Ballon d’Or voters have been delisted and removed for violating FIFA regulations in favor of Messi.
According to Figo, the journalists were caught attempting to manipulate and coordinate their votes in favor of Lionel Messi to win the award over other top contenders, including Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, and Harry Kane.
Figo went further, stating: “For the past 15 years the awards have been rigged in favor of Messi. Only 3 out of the 8 he has won were truly deserved. I don’t know what the relationship between him and FIFA is, but I hope he’s brought to justice someday.”
🚨🗣️ Pelé (2019): “I would put Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of me when it comes to goalscoring. Football was very different in my generation. It wasn’t as intense, the money wasn’t the same, the players didn’t play with the obsession of becoming the very best every single day like modern footballers we see today. Cristiano’s mentality is something else. If he had played in my era with that same hunger and discipline, I believe he would’ve scored over two thousand goals.”
🚨Messi Fans are so confused right now it's unbelievable. They want to believe FIFA's twitter post about Pele's 1000 goals Coz Ronaldo's getting them
But don't want FIFA's official site recognising Pele's 127 Goals in One Season because then Messi' 91 Goals isn't a record🤯
@BailandoFC7@theMadridZone Ya bro he’s good but the pressure at Real Madrid is crazy especially when you cost that much so I’m hoping he doesn’t cave under pressure
