Vehicular Lawlessness @ The Sindh High Court

On 23 February 2026, a high-speed private car (BKR-525) displaying an unauthorized ‘Sindh High Court’ plaque killed a food delivery rider in DHA Karachi.  For those of us, who, for nearly two decades, were consistently monitoring and documenting the growing presence of vehicles bearing fake number plates, counterfeit government number plates, High Court or police number plates, personalised plates, missing plates, ‘Adocate’ or AFR plates and numerous other variants of this illegality – this was no surprise, but an expected outcome.

While we have submitted more than one hundred reports, accompanied by photographs of violating vehicles, to the police, this third letter to the Honourable Sindh High Court seeks to draw attention to the growing menace of vehicular militancy and request the Court’s directions on the matter. As of today, hundreds of illegal, fake, non-registered vehicles, roam around blatantly using false Sindh High Court number plates and indulging in deceitful pretense.  Many of them are parked in the very premises of the Honourable Sindh High Court. 

As citizens, we organised a “Law violating vehicles’ study” at a single location - the premises of Sindh High Court on May 5, 2026.  Sadly, the study came to a rapid conclusion after 16 fake or fraudulent vehicles were identified in less than 10 minutes. These law-violating vehicles were hiding their number plates with plaques such as “Sindh High Court”, “Advocate Sindh High Court” or simply “” Advocate”, while others were using fancy number plates. (Pictures attached.) Regrettably, this blatant lawlessness unfolds in full view of more than two dozen policemen casually standing beside these vehicles. 

Your Honour, the incidents described above are not isolated aberrations. They reflect a routine and disturbing pattern in which the wealthy, influential and entitled violate the law with impunity, while the police remain helpless - perhaps in absolute deference to the High Court.

May we request Your Honour to order appropriate measures to dispel the growing impression of the courts remaining unmoved and indifferent when offences are committed in their name or by those closely associated with them.

Speaking of zardari and assets abroad, the rockwood estate and the Swiss accounts are two helpful trips down memory lane.

Zardari post second round in government:

Denies the Rockwood estate (Surrey mansion) after spending millions of pounds on refurbishing it, filled with hundred thousand pound chandeliers that he decried as being unthinkable for a leader from a poor country.

Then when it was about to be auctioned; zardari decided it was his after all and launched a claim to the asset from jail. He explained his earlier denial of ownership on medical ailments and sought a stay of sale proceedings.

During his second tenure, he was involved in the procurement of a digitisation project for the customs and ports. The companies that bid to win were SGS and cotecna. It was alleged that these companies paid hefty bribes to zardari to win the computerisation contracts. These led to prosecutions of the principals in Switzerland.

Zardari was Convicted in Switzerland for graft related to these contracts. Accounts related to him containing 60 million dollars in Switzerland were frozen.

Zardari then applied for access to these 60 million dollars once the freeze on the graft related account was lifted ONLY because Zardari’s legal team presented the NRO law to the Swiss court and argued that thievery was no longer a crime in that period in Pakistan.

As president in his first term, Once the NRO was declared void ab initio, Zardari’s pppp led government ignored SC directions to write to the Swiss asking for a revisit of that earlier NRO based acquittal.

The PPP Sacrificed a Prime Minister to prevent the writing of the letter. That prime minister was later rewarded with a return to the senate and tickets for his family.

Meanwhile, the court record of the entire Swiss proceedings were then taken from the Pakistani consulate in Switzerland. The person overseeing the taking of the record was then Pakistani consul general in the United Kingdom, wajid shamsul Hasan. Geo’s Murtuza from london was present there for the removal and asked wajid sb on camera what he was upto and the latter refused to offer any replies whilst smoking cigars on the sidewalk.

“A few months after I moved to Paris, two of my friends from Diadema came to spend some time with me there. They had broken up with their wife and girlfriend and were sad, so I invited them, hoping the visit would help clear their minds. Great.

“They soon met other Brazilians, who played for a team like the seventh-division amateur league in the suburbs of Paris — all immigrants without proper papers.

“Every night, my two friends came home angry, complaining that they were constantly beaten up. So, I said: “I’ll go over there tomorrow to watch you play.” And I did.

“I arrived wearing a ninja hat, half disguised, and watched. The opponents were all dressed up, with their uniforms, equipment, water bottles, and a coach. And my friends’ team was wearing nothing: one in white shorts, another in purple, a third in yellow. The guys were hanging from the goalposts to warm up…. It was a mess.
At the end of the match, which they lost, I asked:

“Do you want me to train the team?”
I’ll never forget the guys’ smiles. They were so genuinely happy and excited, something I had only seen when I was a kid, when we would fly kites in Diadema.
I started training the guys every Monday, from 10 to midnight. Sometimes I would train them on Monday and play a Champions League match on Tuesday. Everything was perfect. The day before, I called the guys together:

“Do you have a white button-up shirt and a basic black coat for tomorrow’s party?”
Nobody had one. OK, I will buy you some.
I went to the store myself and got some. Then I thought about their girlfriends and wives. I called the group again and gave each one some pocket money so that their SOs could buy a dress if they wanted.
The party night arrived.

And if I told you it was incredible, one of the most extraordinary emotional moments of my life, as cool as winning the Champions League, would you believe me?”
