“This day are (all) things Good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them.”

Sahih Bukhari Chapter 2057:

“Narrated `Aisha: Some people said, O Messenger! Meat is brought to us by some people and we are not sure whether the name of Allah has been mentioned on it or not (at the time of slaughtering). Prophet Said, Mention the name of Allah and eat it.
