@dasmeff This is Andy. I stumbled across a tweet from you today and thought "Hey, I knew someone named Meff once." Then reading "bacon day" hit me like that ending scene in Ratatouille. Hope you're doing well.
@HSouthwellFE I'm new to F1 this year -- first race I ever watched was the Italian Grand Prix, and watched almost every one since then. It's been a fun intro, but I think my overall conclusion is that this sport is basically professional wrestling, right?
@erintheshea@MrsFridayNext I’d also be a little concerned about the gearing. Just trying to judge from the pictures, the lowest gear looks kinda high. Fine for flat areas; less fun on hills.
Hey @christhile — I know there’s no show, so no artists’ birthdays segment this weekend. But Vera Lynn’s 103rd birthday is this week ... is there any chance we could maybe hear “We’ll Meet Again”? Thanks for everything. Stay safe.
@BenHarris_1@ebooksyearn@20002ist@hgil@sharrowsDC@DCdotNerd I think of Massachusetts style rotaries, and UK style roundabouts, as having their own logic as a driver. Cars in them have the right of way, you merge to enter the circle, you leave when you want, if you miss your exit, you can go around again. But Dupont is just weird.
I don’t know. I could be wrong. But when I see a car rolled onto its side at C and 12th NE I can’t help but suspect the driver might have been going a BIT too fast.
