The hard truth is that these women all fast for 2 days prior, and no water before. It looks unreal because it's unsustainable.
One of the reasons I only did runway a handful of times is because while I was tall and thin enough to have an agency in LA, I was not interested in the restriction that being 1-2 sizes smaller would mean. Most of us are already thin naturally, but doing runway means you are expected to be even smaller. When I did do shows, I noticed I was usually the only one in the room eating when catering came, even from the veggies tray.
Because of that, I promised myself that I was ever presenting something that required hunger or sacrifice of my morals to get there, I should either not take the job or quit my work so it didn't harm me. I think that's probably the main reason I actually recall modeling over these ~15 years as an overall positive experience, and the only reason it actually left me with more self-esteem, rather than eating issues.
So speaking as a 5'11 size 6 model - you don't have to starve to model. There are many ways to be beautiful. Nothing is worth your health.

Here's something I'll tell all of you, and it's coming from the mouth of a guy who either tended bar or managed bars and restaurants in the New York City area for over 20 years AND drove Uber there for seven years.

Blacks, ghetto Latinos, illegals & indians *do not have a clue how the service and retail industries work*...

That's the fundamental disconnect, and everything is downstream of that.

In black and latin ghettos, these kinds of meltdowns happen all day everyday over, like, *every* transaction... The behavior is 100% normalized in the places that they live, including inside their own homes...

People from these ghettos are so isolated and ignorant that they have no idea how abnormal crash out behavior is.

They're not used to shopping in "nice" (read : "normal") stores or sitting down in a decent (normal) restaurant...

Visit their retail business or take out food joints in the hood to see what they think is normal and acceptable...

Be careful while you're there.

Every transaction they have at a takeout place for retail store in the ghetto is hostile and aggressive. They walk in already arguing with somebody loudly on the phone, they order their food in the nastiest way possible, they demand it, they're having that argument or vulgar discussion on the phone the whole time, and if there's anyone else waiting, all of them antagonize each other and whoever is working at the business.

Any interaction in these communities can potentially and instantly turn violent.

There's no patience and there's no stages to getting angry, and once someone is angry, there's very little walking back...

The rest of the hood or the barrio will absolutely come out to watch these fights -- it's so common you have to ask yourself whether or not subconsciously, these people pick fights for the attention...

Let me correct myself, it doesn't make you wonder that... It makes you realize that many of them consciously pick fights for attention...

Because nobody cares about anyone in the hood and people from outside of the hood care less to the point of total avoidance...

When somebody wants something in the hood they have to demand it and be prepared to back their demands with instant escalation...

So people in the hood think that whomever they are interacting with is as likely as the people that they live around to go immediately crash-out...

And they treat everyone accordingly, they treat everyone like a threat, and they deal with that threat the same way their low IQs and shitty neighborhoods and fucked up cultures have taught them on a multi-times a day basis to behave in basic interactions.

I mentioned Indians only because they're also service\retail problems, but they're mostly annoying, they are never physically dangerous...

They will treat a bartender or a waiter or a cashier or driver or delivery man... like they're less than them, which is something our culture emphatically tells us *not* to do. (Consider that celebrities and politicians and even regular people are routinely punished by white people if they mistreat service staff etc, that self-policing very real and really is something that even upper classes are held accountable for.)

100% of the black and latin meltdowns are dangerous, worse because other customers of their same race, or of certain White ideologies, will automatically take the side of a black or Latin person...

More so on public transit or while walking on the streets, you'll see the phenomenon of blacks automatically supporting blacks, even strangers, this is true also of ghetto hispanics and marxists of every race.
