@JonnyBrdshw Came on here to see if anyone else was posting, thank you.
@premierinn It was ridiculous, alarm went on and off for over half an hour, people were told it was 'probably fine to go back to rooms' while alarm still going off but only by word of mouth as total chaos.
Our baby boy Rycroft died at Great Ormond Street last month.
The thread that follows is a little bit about who he was, and how you can help other children like him.
We would love any help you can give to get Rycroft's story to as many people as possible ❤️
One of our year 5 children has recently lost her mum. We were writing persuasive letters in English this week and she wrote this gorgeous letter. Any kind of message or response would be amazing. Please share. @DUALIPA@MrBoothY6@Mat_at_Brookes@Talk4Writing@JamieThomasTFW
Whose opinion should I care more about today, hmmm:
- Bereaved families whose relatives died of Covid while our "leaders" partied and cavorted.
- Sycophant MPs who prioritise worship of a liar and asshole over properly doing their job for their constituents.
What a tough one, eh?
All this talk of teacher strikes taking time away from year 11s just before exams.
But Lol at The King Charles Coronation giving us a bank holiday *the week before exams start* but no one batters an eye lid.
I don’t know which teacher needs to hear this - I’ve said it before I’ll say it again - but you don’t have to spend the first day of the holidays cleaning your house.

Tonight is a reminder that you can switch in minutes to join the @NEUnion as your own union has not taken proactive action to address the woeful situation imposed on the teaching profession and join us in creating a bigger voice to strike. We need EVERY teacher #EnoughIsEnough
I'm so sick of our national curriculum. There's not enough time to teach things properly. Everything is rushed. Why are there so many topics? Who thought this was a good idea? Where's the depth in a curriculum where you have to teach at a million miles an hour? Argh. 😡
People are out in force in Nottingham to support striking unions and call for fair pay for all. At least 5 different unions represented. I'm here to call for the funding our students deserve. #strikes@NadiaWhittomeMP
If teachers worked proportionately to their pay, you'd be stunned at the amount that wouldn't get done or exist.
Not wanting to help with teacher burnout is a far deeper betrayal of your children's education than any strike could ever be.
Today I strike for my colleagues across the country that want to but can't.
Today I strike for the students that deserve every penny invested into their education.
Today I strike for Headteachers that struggle with their dwindling budgets.

Hi @BBradley_Mans, as my MP, please speak out and vote to #StopFracking at the Opposition Day Debate tomorrow. Fracking is contributing to the #ClimateEmergency and endangering lives.
New favourite compliment from a student - upon finding out I'm 23 - "Miss, if you were in Fifa, you'd have high potential." Said so sincerely I'm taking the compliment. 🤣😊
A black kid in poverty won’t be inspired that it’s a black Chancellor letting him go hungry.
A brown mum being deported won’t be comforted that it’s a brown Home Secretary tearing her family apart.
“Diversity” at the top means nothing if they’re kicking those at the bottom.
@MissWashbourne@MrTs_NQTs I encouraged mine to tell the person next to them a fact about themselves that could be as mundane or as exciting as they liked, then asked for volunteers to share what they heard about someone. Takes pressure off those who didn't do much over summer. 😊
