Only teachers understand the importance of decompressing on the first day(s) of breaks. We carry a heavy load and if we deny ourselves this process, we will eventually crack. #TeacherTwitter#Decompress#SelfCare#SpringBreak 🪴🪷☀️
@bibliomami@OuizerTeacher I think it's more of a -was the kid completely disrespectful and ignored you or were they being sneaky and mischievous. Yes both wrong but one is worse punishment.
@markrauscher@JayWamsted My HS kids walked off with my iphone charger and I harassed them for 2 days. I kept saying "someone, one of y'all, walked off with my charger so nobody can charge their phone anymore"
They all looked for it and it came back. 😂
Completely unsurprised that I woke up hella sick after a week of kids coming to school hella sick and refusing to wear masks.
STOP SENDING YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL SICK. I do not care that you don’t want to use your own sick days because now I have to use mine because of YOUR child
@mychal3ts@ellybel1 My 3 kids (8,6,&3) love the library! I never went as a child so I wanted to make sure my kids got to experience it. My husband an English teacher led the way cause i had no clue what to do.
@MarisaEThompson Absolutely 100% true all of it!!!
I would add allow the unscheduled fun to happen. Many times we side track with laughter and we snap back to the topic cutting out the small bonding moments.
