@KitsuneroVT @EvaAnanova Saying that though when I've uploaded and it gets flagged in the check I usually show them the mechanical license I got through distributor and they're fine with it. All varies on the company tbh.

@KitsuneroVT @EvaAnanova From personal experience, Youtube Music is usually done through a distributor that can sort out the mechanical license but 9/10 times you'd need a separate license for uploading your own video or such to YouTube especially if it's monetised.

hello fellow vtubers who want to release their covers on streaming platforms i beg you to please obtain a mechanical license and understand how distributing works... you cannot redistribute cover songs on streaming without it...

@EvaAnanova Those releasing covers I genuinely recommend SoundDrop. They're a distributor who specialises in sorting out Mechanical Licences without breaking the bank.
