I’m thankful for the opportunity to publish my second paper on TB and excited for the dynamic Joseph Lindsey; this is both his first publication and his first first-author publication.
My @nycHealthy colleagues and I just published a retrospective case series on rifampin mono-resistant TB in NYC (2010-2021) in @OFIDJournal https://t.co/bBKKgfJEwz
Greater use of short-course regimens (such as BPaL) as first-line treatment for rifampin mono-resistant TB, and quicker procurement of the component medications, could decrease treatment duration and increase treatment completion rates.

After barely making it across this street alive, I stood on the corner to film for a minute. So this is what this intersection is like when everyone can see they're on camera. Qns Blvd & 29th @StreetsblogNYC
Our society faces a mental health crisis, especially in the wake of COVID-19. I’m in therapy myself to make sure I’m taking care of my own mind. That's why I'm honored to have talked today about wellness and to encourage people to take up healthy activities like running.
To mark the start of Mental Health Awareness Month, I was lucky to hear @ByGollyMolly12 speak at a @NYRR event, and then do some laps of Astoria Park alongside her! I also learned that @NYCHealthCommr enjoys biking to work, which is fitting since it’s also #BikeMonthNYC.
Today I joined @nyrr at their “Open Run for an Open Mind” at Astoria Park in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Physical activity is an excellent way to promote our physical, emotional and mental well-being. This is care and community in action.
It is important that, as a high-risk group, patients with TB are prioritized for resources to quickly diagnose and treat COVID-19, and provided with tools and information to protect themselves from COVID-19. #EndTB
My first paper on tuberculosis was published today in @PLOSGPH. My colleagues and I at @nycHealthy found that almost 1/3 adults aged 45+ in a cohort of people in NYC who had both TB and COVID-19 died

I am so glad we have additional footage of Claus Henning-Schulke absolutely CRUSHING his duties as Eliud Kipchoge’s bottle guy at the Berlin Marathon.
He is now 2-for-2 in helping fuel Kipchoge to the marathon world record.
