The world could have stopped the genocide in Gaza.
Instead, governments — including our own — allowed Israel to act with total impunity.
Israel’s reckless strikes on Iran are the product of that impunity. They represent a shameful failure of global leadership. And they are a threat to the safety of humankind across the world.
Our government needs to wake up, end its complicity in Israeli war crimes and defend international law.
That is how we bring about urgent de-escalation, end the genocide and stop the world from being dragged into a catastrophic, nuclear war.
We are all human beings on one planet. Surely that is enough to try and bring about a world of peace.
It was very sad to see that none of the Palestinian candidates managed to win a seat in the UK #ge2024 .
Would have been great to see someone like Kamel Hawwash, Sameh Habeeb or Nada Jarche etc. slamming the government from inside parliament.
Alas, it was a brave effort by all. There will be more opportunities. Insha'Allah.
With every passing minute, another human being in Gaza is killed.
Why did the Prime Minister instruct our representatives at the UN not to support a ceasefire?
The siege must end. The killings must end. The occupation must end.
Today, we marched in our thousands for an immediate ceasefire.
We will never stop speaking up for the Palestinian people. Our common humanity is at stake.
We may be witnessing the total obliteration of Gaza.
Political leaders refusing to speak out should feel eternal shame over the horror they are allowing to unfold.
Those of us who believe in peace cannot stay silent. We must say to the Palestinian people: you are not alone.
Tory MPs praising Mo Farah for his bravery in talking about himself being trafficked.
If Tory policy had its way poor Mo would have drowned in the English Channel or been deported to Rwanda.
The hypocrisy of these racists is disturbing. All refugees are welcome.
@Wardy95 @WengerEren @pitbullstan69 It’s not even true as well I’ve literally been catcalled when I look my worst like sat at the bus stop in a jumper and joggers
