Happy Easter from Central Cambridgeshire stations 🐰🥚
To our crews working this bank holiday - thank you, we appreciate you 💛 🌷
Stay safe… and save us some chocolate 😉🍫
Happy birthday to our make-ready operative Martin 🎉
Surprised on shift with a few cupcakes (candles included… don’t worry, the fire extinguisher was close by 🔥🧯).
Hope you’ve had a great day, Martin - well deserved! 👏🏻
Last few days to sponsor our Luke Taber from Huntingdon Ambulance Station 🚑🏃♂️
Luke is running the Cambridge Half Marathon in full uniform carrying an 8kg responder bag.
As Luke says, it’s “to signify the weight responders carry into our daily lives.”

Today we’ve got LOM Andy swapping the ambulance for the George Foreman 🚑➡️🍔🔥 rustling up a storm for the day & night crews. Saving lives by day, saving morale by night 😂👏 #CrewLife#ManagerOnTheGrill
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all @EastEnglandAmb teams, including our colleagues from Huntingdon station & beyond, for their professionalism and resilience following last week’s tragic incident in Huntingdon. Everyone affected is receiving the care and support they need. 💚
💚 It’s #InternationalParamedicsDay and we’re celebrating the incredible @EastEnglandAmb paramedics who go above and beyond every single day — staying calm under pressure, delivering expert care, and still managing to find houses no sat nav can. Thank you! 💚

BREAKING:
Due to budget cuts, all ambulances in Central Cambs will now be replaced with tandem bicycles. 🚴♂️💨
While response times may slightly increase uphill, we’re pleased to report record-breaking speeds across the Fenlands—finally, a benefit to being completely flat!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums out there - especially those on shift today, caring for our community.
Your dedication and compassion doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do! 💚🚑

@daniellebeedie1@Depheruk Hey, thank you for the reply, unfortunately this was back in March this year, I safeguarded the pt and made sure the relevant referrals were in place to ensure they wouldn’t be going home without the proper support and assessments x
Cried for the first time in a long time at work today. 80-something year old, no food, no heat. Freezing, hungry, forgotten about and still adamant others needed help more than him. This job really does get to you sometimes, and it’s the things you thought it wouldn’t be about
@Meghpai This was the wording used by the HCP to explain the situation to me. Regardless, to be called obese is still insulting. I’m not naive enough to know I’m not the slimmest girl ever, but as a comfortable size 12 I’m definitely not obese.
