I’m nervous to share this but my paper is out in @TheLancetPsych today! I’ve written about #eatingdisorders, “terminal anorexia” and withdrawing treatment alongside @AgnesAyton@sensinglorna@Suzanne38063826 & others.
I am both proud & sad to write it.

We’re delighted to present Avalon and Wisteria wards with our Clinical Inpatient Team of the Year Award! 🏆
Both teams were nominated for their continued commitment and dedication, and for the 'Good' CQC rating they received earlier this year. Well done everyone!

Here's your weekly reminder that 10 years ago the NHS was the best healthcare system on the planet, ranked number 1 by the @commonwealthfnd. The NHS crisis is due to a decade of Tory underfunding and criminal grade neglect. We don't need a new system, we need a new govt.

So pleased to have been offered a position as a Band 5 Senior Assistant Psychologist in my current Eating Disorders team at @SWLSTG! Excited to begin piloting MANTRA therapy in a group setting, and hopefully increase treatment options for patients with anorexia 😊🧠

So excited to have been offered my first Assistant Psychologist post in the Eating Disorders Service at South West London and St George’s! It is an incredible opportunity and I’m thrilled to have found a post so soon after finishing my MSc. I cannot wait to get started! 🎉
As the mother of children who have had to grow up without a father, I’m aware that #fathersday is not always a happy day. If today is a cause for celebration, I wish you much joy. If, for whatever reason, it’s a cause of heartache, I send much love.
Yesterday was the first day of my Clinical Placement at the Mildred Creak Unit at @GreatOrmondSt, an inpatient unit for children aged 7-14 with eating and somatosensory disorders. I have already learnt so much in just one day, and am so excited to continue this journey!
