@rowwyaboat So the game started out as you couldn’t pick it up at all, you had to use your feet and then they added rugby style rules and then they added the forward pass. And were lazy and no one changed the name. Idk. I wasn’t alive at the time so I can only go off Wikipedia

@rowwyaboat I guess football was the base word of the two sports stuff was taken from and it evolved, because the forward pass and stuff wasn’t added until later and football was already what it was called and so it just Stuck. Idk.
