Section 3 experience and list of Questions

I got a Section 3 a few days back for an ASIN for which we bought 30 units. It was an A2A buy so I was not worried much about it since @SaulSellsStuff had recently got one and he got cleared.

Amazon Sellers, massive Keepa Update:

Keepa just dropped a silent update. Among them is this new filter, it's a bit like storefront stalking on steroids.

You can now view the entire historical product catalog of any seller on Amazon with just their seller ID.

Why is this helpful?

As you come across your own replens, seasonal scores, or arbitrage buys you naturally notice similar sellers on all of your same listings.

Instead of only reviewing their current catalog for new items to source you can now hunt for their items they are out of stock on but will be replenishing.

Find a seller who seems to be hitting all your same stores? Now you can see what they crushed with last holiday to track down this year for yourself.

Do you wholesale? Well now you just got access to your competitors entire catalog to reverse source distributors with.

If this is any indication of where Keepa is moving we could have some even better updates to come.

To test it out head to Keepa > Data > Product Finder and search for the section in my picture attached.

@ArbitrageOps Facing the same issue, I tried submitting invoices with proper highlighting and text for explanation where needed, I even opened case but no result. Do you have any plan of action for this?

We tried to do the interview earlier but the camera was not good enough to scan the ID on the call so we had to reschedule the call. Please make sure you have the proper tech before going on the call.

Alhamdulillah, I just got my section 3 cleared this morning

The questions that we got asked were mostly the same as on our other account (refer to my old post) and I felt that the interview was shorter this time, roughly 20 minutes

The timeline was as follows,

- Got the section 3 email on 8th Jan
- Did the initial document submission and
interview on 16th Jan
- Submitted a combined documentation of 140 pages
the next day (For 3 ASINS)
- Got cleared on the 20th Jan

Going through a Section 3 on one of our smaller accounts

Will most probably do the interview tomorrow, tried to do it today but the camera quality was not good enough, Just bought a new camera for the interview.
