Retired Air Force Major General William Neil McCasland vanished from his Albuquerque home on February 27 2026. He left his phone, prescription glasses and wearable devices behind. His wife returned from a short medical appointment to find him gone. A gray Air Force sweatshirt was later recovered about a mile and a half away with no blood or signs of struggle detected.

McCasland previously commanded the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and oversaw advanced aerospace research, propulsion systems and classified programs. His name surfaced in the Podesta emails discussing recovered craft and non-human technology with Tom DeLonge.

Whitley told Jeremy Corbell & George Knapp how McCasland’s deep institutional knowledge of these sensitive programs positioned him as someone who could have provided Congress with unprecedented detail on long-hidden efforts. The official investigation continues with no confirmed evidence of foul play, yet the combination of his background, the timing of his disappearance and the items left behind has raised urgent questions about what he knew and why he may no longer be able to speak.

The Harvard astrophysicist leading the panel explained in a recent interview that the government is now actively cooperating with scientists to investigate unidentified aerial phenomena. This marks a real shift because it confirms there are objects current systems cannot explain.

Loeb hopes suspicion about government secrecy will fade once the facts emerge through this joint effort. He urged keeping focus on the evidence from these objects instead of online opinions.

If even one proves to be not human made it would stand as the biggest discovery in human history. At the same time any conventional explanation pointing to adversarial technology would still demand urgent attention as a national security matter.

The council plans to use advanced sensors and AI to collect clear data on speed acceleration and other traits. This evidence focused collaboration offers a direct path to verifiable answers.
