They were good characters and were well acted. Their bond gave the story a lot of heart and made me care about what happened to them.

One of the things I enjoy most about Prometheus is its sense of epic mystery.

@AvPOdysseyDB There was so much about this movie that I love! That standoff between the Yakuza and Predator was great. Not sure Adrien Brody was the best choice to lead the cast, but this is a good movie in my opinion.

I loved the original Battlestar Galactica as a kid.

I bought the trading cards, had the lunchbox, and couldn't wait to watch each episode. The effects were excellent for the time, and the Cylons were genuinely menacing.

@HorrorCarnival A John Carpenter great that doesn't get nearly enough credit. One of the best characters I've seen on film, and easily one of the best fist fights ever captured on film. Trust me, just PUT ON THE GLASSES!

@Y2John84 Easily one of the greatest set pieces ever put on film. The camera pulls back, revealing the space jockey and the spooky music that hints at deep, dark mysteries that we would never know the origins of. Expert filmmaking! It expands the known universe. An absolute masterpiece!

@aliensexpanded I think that after witnessing Ash betray the Nostormo crew, I was just waiting for Biship to turn on Ripley and the Marines and betray them. When he doesn't, and acts in a reliable, loyal way, he looks so much the better for it. I think that's why he is such a fan favorite.

I've always had a soft spot for Logan's Run.

The effects may show their age, but the ideas and sense of adventure still make it a fun piece of science fiction.

@SelectedCinema This film flew under the radar. It was another adaptation of a Philip K. Dick short story that I enjoyed. I liked seeing Peter Weller in this. Been a fan of his since Robocop.
