Drop Site also looked into the disappearance of these women. The Israeli military, after several weeks of going back and forth, finally provided this comment:

"The three individuals mentioned in the query are not being held by the IDF, and there is no indication that they were held in IDF detention facilities.

"The incident has been referred for review. An initial review conducted by the IDF indicates that the incident occurred approximately two years ago, during operational activity by IDF troops in the area of Khan Yunis, where the troops encountered terrorists.

"During the activity, several individuals were temporarily detained in the field, including the two women mentioned in the query. The women were released in the Gaza Strip in an area farther from the troops’ operational activity shortly there after. The initial review found no indication of further contact between IDF troops and the women.

"The initial review conducted by the IDF did not yield additional information regarding the man mentioned in the query."

Obviously, this is extremely troubling, as these two women and this man were last seen with the IDF, and haven't been seen since.
