Getting an injection and being monitored for symptoms after is so wild bc I do not enjoy being Very Aware Of My Body and yet that is exactly what this situation requires
@MadelynKnecht As a marketer + writer: How do agents, editors, etc. determine what will sell when market and audience desires shift so quickly, but the publication timeline is 2+ years? (genuine question, I promise!)
@ArienSkyeWrites@authorBBLorik This is the one I use! Super trusty to this day β and I had it out in several thunderstorms, many protests, and a 4-wheeler ride (and that's just when I was a journalist!) https://t.co/6beXoCU8au
@authorBBLorik Viktor, buddy, believe me I totally get the sentiment of "if your body's XYZ thing sucks, store-bought is fine!" and I too want to replace many parts of my body with in-warranty machinery...but brother. I think we took it A LITTLE BIT TOO FAR???π€£π€£
@MadelynKnecht I've really been enjoying your work, and I'm so happy to hear that the numbers are backing up the value you're providing to all of us out of the kindness of your heart! (...sorry for the marketing speak, you can't take the girl out of content marketing etc etc but I mean it!!!)
7 years ago, I plunged into the query trenches for the first time. 3 manuscripts and 2 rounds of querying later, I'm still grateful for the friends I've made, ALL the things I've learned, and the community I get to be part of β€οΈ
Anyway, that changed the entire shoe type, brand and size that was recommended to me so uh. If you're getting shoes fitted, maybe bring up any sort of sport you do with your feet even if you think it doesn't matter!
Went to replace my running shoes today. The shop owner who fit my feet was so lovely, and also flabbergasted at the shape of my toes, heels, and calluses. It was then that I realized...I should probably tell her I dance ballet 10-ish hours a week. Oops.
I often sit here and get immensely angry that I might actually get some of my autoimmune BS treated, but /only/ because I have the privilege of commercial insurance, and being able to take 3 days of PTO. I hate that this isn't something everyone could access if they need.
