When I moved to Scotland 25 years ago with a young family, I was genuinely excited because of the reputation of Scottish schooling - much better than England's. Sadly, Scottish education started to slide and my children had poor experiences, especially latterly. This is entirely due to pathetic, self-interested government by the SNP, and the party is criminally responsible for the lost life chances of tens, if not hundreds of thousand, Scottish young people. I am beyond angry.
