Dodgers pitcher Edwin Diaz and Kentucky Derby jockeys Jose Ortiz & Irad Ortiz Jr. were revealed to have ties to illegal cockfighting in their native Puerto Rico in a recent @USATODAY report.

Cockfighting was banned in all 50 states and U.S. territories, but the activity is supported by some as a cultural tradition in Puerto Rico. MLB declined to comment in USA TODAY's story.
