Tigranakert (in #Artsakh) is one of the many cities built by an Armenian King Tigran the Great, in the 80's B.C.
The area is a heaven for archeology geeks as it is full of artifacts and ruins from both Armenia’s Hellenic and Christian eras.
#ArtsakhIsLove#RecognizeArtsakh
#Armenia can always recognize the independence of #Artsakh. It’s important that other members of int’l community recognized it. Today this issue is more urgent considering the humanitarian catastrophe in which #NagornoKarabakh finds itself now. @AJArabic https://t.co/4esGl75FMS
#Azerbaijan is increasing the volume and means of war crimes against the ppl of #Artsakh. By using phosphorous weapons containing chemical elements, #Azerbaijan violates intl humanitarian law, constantly threatening the existence of the ppl of #Artsakh. #StopAzerbaijaniAggression
New evidence of using phosphorus munitions with clear chemical elements by #Azerbaijani military in #Artsakh/#Karabakh - against forests & most importantly civilians - civilians are hiding in forests during these days, causing mass destructions #DontBeBlind#terrorism#WarCrimes
Violating the agreement on not targeting peaceful settlements, reached in Geneva, at around 07:08 AM #Azerbaijan shelled Stepanakert and #Shushi. In #Stepanakert, the adversary forces targeted the central market and one residential house. Wounded civilians are reported
#URGENT!
Based on preliminary data, #Azerbaijan used banned white phosphorus munitions over #Artsakh/#Karabakh causing fires to forests next to civilian communities.
In addition to #ecological disaster they aim at burning the people hidden in the forests.
War crimes by Azeri forces continue to mount. Azerbaijan has now shelled a maternity hospital being used to treat COVID-19 patients, a historic church, and numerous other civilian structures throughout Artsakh. @StateDept must condemn these heinous acts. https://t.co/ZERPlUl0gb
