It's "love and accept everybody" until they don't have the same religion as you. Until they aren't the same race as you. Until they are part of the LGBT+ community. Until they come from somewhere different than you.

No one ever actually listens to what I want for gifts, and that's fine. I guess I want niche things that people think I joke about? But it would be nice to get one that I ask for for once.
I went to a Greek food festival with my bestie. We tried baklava and when I bit into it all I could think was "Holy heck, Michael was spot on"

I've said it once and I'll say it again, every time I get discouraged about my writing style being acceptable and beautiful to anyone else other than myself I remember that I'm influenced by three great composers who stood proud with their writing styles.
Don't even get me started when they also say "Oh I don't care what you are" but they actually do care and they just don't want to be judged for being racist or LGBTQ-phobic.
We can all tell. You're not fooling anyone.
