With Limerick city and county set to head to the polls for an historic first-ever Directly Elected Mayor vote tomorrow, I want to thank every single person who I have encountered along the way these past few months of campaigning.

It was back on March 11th that we got the ball rolling and the days and weeks since have absolutely flown by. We have been across the county so many times and to every person who opened their doors, stopped on the street, attended local meetings and gatherings or simply gave a friendly wave to my team of canvassers: thank you. 💚

This vote is about you, about your county and about the direction you’d like to take it. As the first county in Ireland to hold a Directly Elected Mayor vote, the eyes of Ireland are on us; let’s show them that Limerick cares deeply about electing a Mayor with county-wide executive powers and use your vote tomorrow. 💪
