I support smarter growth, walkable streets and livable neighborhoods. I'll bring my rich experience in urban projects to the Mountain View City Council.
We walked and dropped lit, we phoned and texted voters. NOW it’s time to come together to celebrate:
Meet us at 8 pm, Democratic Volunteer Center, 2124 W El Camino, Mountain View. We’ll watch the election returns on DVC’s big screen and see Alison Hicks reelected election night!
I'm proud to announce that, due to ongoing conversation with and suggestions by Monta Loma residents, we've found several plots of land that we can likely purchase for a new park!
We are proud to support Mountain View Mayor @LucasRamirezMV, @mtnviewellen, and @Alison4Council who all have been instrumental in addressing the housing crisis in Mountain View. Let's continue their good work and get all three of them re-elected to council!
144 units of @mvwschools Teacher, Administrator, and @mountainviewgov City staff housing has broken ground! This innovative and first of its kind project is an example of a forward thinking public private partnership.
I went to the ribbon cutting ceremony for Palo Alto's Safe Parking Lot on Geng Road, which runs on the same model that Mountain View pioneered.
I'm so proud that our model is spreading! Setting up emergency housing like this is a crucial step to end homelessness in the Bay Area.
📢SANTA CLARA COUNTY ENDORSEMENTS
Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte is proud to endorse candidates that will fight for reproductive freedom. Bookmark our voter guide and vote like our bodies depend on it, because they do! https://t.co/gYhXztslyY
I, along with other City Councilmembers, put gun control on the workplace this year by strengthening our safe storage for firearms regulation. On Tuesday October 11th, City Council will have a study session on additional firearm safety measures the city can take.
We have lost too many people to gun violence.
That's why I'm proud to hold the Gun Sense Distinction from Moms Demand Action, designating me as a candidate who will advocate for safer communities with stronger gun safety laws. (1/2)
Heritage Park was full of families and neighbors enjoying the sunny weather under the trees at the Harvest History Festival!
Watching a Monarch Butterfly emerge from its chrysalis while Soil&Water, Greenspaces MV, and the Girl Scouts were setting up was one of my highlights🦋
At this crucial moment when women's reproductive freedom is under attack nationwide, I am proud to announce that Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte has endorsed my campaign!
The Mountain View Voice held its first ever virtual candidate forum! Candidates were asked about a wide range of topics including bicycle safety, business recovery, housing, and sustainability. If you missed the forum, you can watch it here: https://t.co/balRDTh7qa
Very grateful to have the endorsement of DAWN along with my colleagues, Councilmember Ellen Kamei and Vice Mayor Alison Hicks for Mountain View City Council!
If you're interested in rethinking our streets, you'll want to check out Green Streets for Sustainable Communities' free virtual forum this Friday Sept. 16 from 9-10:00 AM🛤️🌿 (1/5)
