❓ Do you speak up when you witness sexist or misogynistic behaviour?
❌ Sexist jokes, catcalling, staring, and comments might seem harmless, but they are serious because they can lead to violence and abuse.
🗣️ White Ribbon's #WeSpeakUp campaign calls on men to use their voices and speak up to help create a world where everyone is safe, equal and respected.
Because every time we ignore something that doesn’t feel right, we miss a chance to set a better example.

🎄 Children and young people under the age of 16 can travel for FREE on buses across South Glos during the festive season.
🚎 From 20 December to 4 January, children aged from 5 to 15 years old can benefit from free bus travel across the West of England – just by hopping on board, with no bus pass or registration required.
Kids Go Free first launched during the summer holidays where local visitor attractions and retail centres saw an uplift in footfall during that time.
The scheme is being funded using some of the £13.5 million Bus Grant funding secured from the Department for Transport by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.

We're very proud to share “The Run”, a short film made in collaboration with other local authorities across the country.
The Run tells the story of Tom, an 11-year-old boy whose need to run is both literal and symbolic. His journey reflects the urgency and vulnerability faced by many children in care.
This powerful story shows the life-changing impact foster carers can have on children and young people.

As a teacher, I have been increasingly concerned about the impact of screens on children’s speech and language skills, their social skills, and their ability to regulate their emotions👇
Experts are warning pre-school children's speech and language development is in "steady decline" due to an over-reliance on screen time

We promised reform, to bring back the family doctor and to invest more in primary care.
Today we’re announcing the biggest boost to GP funding for years - an extra £889 million! This, combined with reform, will deliver a better experience for patients and relief for GPs.
