Once again @ProfSamWass providing up to date evidence to something #ece researchers and practitioners have been aware of. I first came across discussions of the interaction between dispositions and environment as a new practitioner in the 90’s (I think Katz)
@BiologyLover31 No I am not. I’m pointing out that some petrol is racist because of the disruption to both Delta state & Indigenous land in North America.
Though Gulf states aren’t immune to human rights violations of minority groups in Gulf region through displacement & environmental impact.
@jurassicg1rl@kelechnekoff@BunkerBonkers Thanks for tweeting this. I’m being told I’m racist because I made this point and didn’t also mention Saudi Arabia. 🤷♀️
@BiologyLover31 I’m not. But was Nigeria a British colony? Yes. Has BP benefitted from colonialism? Yes. Was colonialism white supremacy? Yes. Of course the Gulf states are also involved in corruption and human rights violations but that’s not the point I was making.
Why am I in a conversation about racism with a person with a British passport as an avatar and another with a dinosaur emoji and Suffragette colours in their bio?
I will NEVER stop talking about how "love languages" is just something made up by a misogynistic pastor, thoroughly unqualified to write a psychology self help book, so he could insist wives owed their husbands sex on demand.
That's all this trash has ever been.
@BunkerBonkers@kelechnekoff Conflicts between the people of the Delta State in Nigeria and oil companies, and Indigenous peoples in the US and pipeline building?

The Letby case should teach us this: Too many people think "innocence" looks white, middle-class, traditional, vulnerable, tearful. People who present this way are often unquestioningly believed and supported. Remember this when it happens again. Because it happens all the time.
Students at the University of East London have given the School of Education and Communities (Educom) outstanding ratings in the latest National Student Survey (NSS).
