Bergen Square in Jersey City (Bergen Avenue and Academy Street) and the streets around it are the site of what is considered to be the oldest municipality in the state of New Jersey (first established in 1660)- We just completed some flood mitigation for the area and are now scheduled to start renovation + park expansion. There is a lot of green infrastructure involved in this project, as requested by the community + this is how it will lay out. We kept the finishes more historic as requested, with tones of red, brown and grey, and features that mimic stone and wood.
