Thank you @OrlandoFringe for being such a valuable part of our @citybeautiful community and for encouraging & supporting young talent. We enjoyed the shows this weekend as part of #WinterMiniFest. It was a great mix of international, national, and local productions.
Dear @Oprah, meet Jacinna Thomas. Each week, she sends our school staff a Motivational Monday message and always lifts others. You have inspired her throughout her 20 years as a FL teacher,so we surprised her with a trip to Ft Lauderdale to see #Oprahs2020VisionTour.
Doesn't get any more real-world than this: My students created video for a non-profit last month, but just couldn't stop thinking about them, so last Friday night they held their OWN fundraiser for @CKc_Foundation, raising $145. So proud!

Thank you @orlandomayor Buddy Dyer for spending time with my student reporters this morning, as they filmed documentary on the important work of @IDignityInc in downtown Orlando.
These @NDFootball players could have sprinted for the locker room after their #CitrusBowl win. Instead, they spent time with young fans. Great show of kindness & spirit! Thanks @julianlove27 @mmcglinch68@khalid_kareem53 & Tyler Newsome
Look for the article "Video Killed the Couch Potato" in this month's Baldwin Park Living Magazine. It's about how my students rose to the @HealthyCentralF#Move60 Challenge.
Great day of real-life learning with a visit from Tim Freed, Associate Editor with @WPMObserver. Thanks for sharing tips on telling the stories in our community.

Combining video with student inquiry. Today we were lucky to meet world renowned Paleontologist Rodolfo Coria with our @SkypeClassroom friends @WimbledonSchL. Dr. Coria gave both classes a private tour of his lab and museum. Read about him here: https://t.co/ENQ0haYXQq
Is that an Emmy in our classroom? Why yes, it is! Thanks to Beth Tuura of @CBSSports for sharing expertise with my News Crew class this morning during #OCPSTeachIn2017
