Amazing to see this visual representation of a personality made up of different parts on the carpet of our workshop on using IFS ideas in CAT at the ACAT conference.#ACATconf22
@abrar71@Assoc_CAT@YouthCAT1 I think a contract with an ending is really important in encouraging people to start to be their own wise parent. Moving on from an individual CAT therapy to a group therapy can be really helpful too.
Jay Dudley has now been voted in as Chair of ACAT. Congratulations Jay & thank you @AlisonJenaway for all your efforts & dedication over the last few years.
Thanks too to all who attended & who have contributed to ACAT business & activity this last year #ACATAGM
Thanks all members & others who have checked out our draft public engagement materials & left us your helpful ratings & comments. We'll keep the survey open till mid-August. If you haven't already shared your thoughts, please do #Listening#CognitiveAnalyticTherapy#ACATPE
@Assoc_CAT@Pipney_Doodles@amblebrecon Fascinating work following on from Susie Black’s evaluation of her generic CAT maps for cancer services. Seems helpful for service users, carers and staff, poeple can say “I’m on the map” and others get it. #PhysCAT19
@KatyStepanian Some of us CAT therapists have doubts too, I have created my own version called “The Alternnative Psychotherapy File” but more discussion needed. I suppose it can be a starting point, even though not perfect?
