@johnboyne I’ve just spent the day reading Air, I couldn’t put it down. A very satisfying ending. I really enjoyed reading the quartet, although I found Fire a disturbing read. Thanks for writing these great books. What’s next?
@KirstieMAllsopp We were saying exactly this in our Walsall Community Litter Watch Facebook Group yesterday. We have some amazing volunteer litter pickers in Walsall, enabled by the Council, but frankly it’s impossible to keep up.
Dear Carol, from Carole…
Love @carolvorders. And loved writing this open letter in praise of her frank & fearless decision to speak out. What’s happening in our country isn’t ‘politics’. And it isn’t ‘normal’: it’s corruption, corruption, corruption

@mrmarksteel Wtf I keep hearing folk say this in Walsall today: `I would love to see Boris back. He may have his faults but I strongly believe he is the best person to get us through this economic situation. Boris got us through Brexit when no-one else could. Bring Back BORIS!!'
Thank you @BhamLitFest for a fab event, really well curated. I’ve enjoyed some fascinating talks & spent way too much money on books! #BLF2022 Hope you’re back in 2023.
@hanrahanistan Respect to your dad, I love a Twirl! Wonder what he’d make of the Orange Twirls & Mondelez, come to that. I worked on Bournville Lane & had access to the staff shop - an absolute disaster for my waist line!
